Just thought I'd share a few photos from our amazing field trip to Ken Water's sustainable farm in Shelbyville!  We toured his high tunnel to see how vegetables can be grown in the winter, tried raw asparagus straight out of the field, saw possibly the largest colony of blue herons in Kentucky, and explored a creek!  So much fun, we can't wait to go back! Thank you to the Starmers for sharing their photos!

Such a lovely photos! It's really nice to see you teens enjoying your field trip. I myself love this Shelbyville place. Fresh air with a beautiful view.
